Benefits

Joining the British Pain Society entitles you to the following benefits:

Pain News
You will receive a free copy of the Society’s quarterly Newsletter Pain News, which provides information on a range of pain related issues. Contributions are encouraged from British Pain Society members.

Reviews in Pain
You will receive a free copy of the Society's peer-reviewed quarterly publication Reviews in Pain.

Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM)
You will receive advanced notification of the Society’s ASMs and will be entitled to discounts on registration fees and further reductions for booking early.

Study Days/Education Days
You will receive advanced notification of the Society’s Study Days and Education Days and will be entitled to discounts on registration fees.

Publications
You will be entitled to two free copies of each British Pain Society publication, and discounts on additional copies purchased thereafter. As a member, you will also be entitled to up to 50 free copies of accompanying information for patients booklets, including the publication Understanding and Managing Pain: Information for Patients; multiple copies can also be provided for distribution within your work institutions.

Grants & Awards
Entitlement to apply for the Society’s grants and awards is exclusive to the members of the Society. These include the Mildred B Clulow Research Grant, Patrick Wall Overseas Travel Bursary, ASM bursary, Study Day bursary and the IASP World Congress Travel bursary.

SIGs
You may join any of the Society’s Special Interest Groups free of charge.

Network
The British Pain Society can facilitate contact with other members of the Society, currently over 1,550. A mailing list facility (adhesive mailing labels) is available free of charge to members for non commercial purposes i.e. research projects.

European Journal of Pain
