About the Global Pain Management Special Interest Group
The Global Pain Management SIG aims to promote good practice in pain management in a variety of settings, but mostly in countries where there are challenges in resources, by providing information and education in pain management and by supporting quality improvement projects and research when opportunities arise.
We are a multidisciplinary group and welcome all members of the British Pain Society who are interested to join us and contribute to this important work either with a short-term project such as providing educational sessions, or by helping to shape the work of the SIG in the longer term.

Opportunities to get involved:
We are currently exploring potential projects. We are always interest to hear of ideas for developing new programmes within the SIG.
At present there are opportunities to teach the Essential Pain Management programme online
