Announcement - Mrs Felicia Cox

Dear BPS members and community,

Last weekend the British Pain Society suffered a terrible loss as our Council member and good friend, Felicia Cox - known to most as Flick - sadly passed away.

We have lost a dedicated and long-time society member, an outstanding nurse, and a passionate advocate for people in pain.  We have also lost a kind, generous, and insightful friend who has served as a mentor to many, and a selfless source of guidance in times of need.  We will dearly miss Flick's quick wit and dry humour, ability to know everyone, thoughtful ideas, and wise counsel.

Those who would like to share memories, reflections, or condolences are invited to do so on Flick’s memorial page. Messages will be shared with her family in due course.  We will keep you posted as we learn more about memorial arrangements and ways to pay tribute.

We will miss Flick dearly - she was extraordinary and an inspiration to all who met her.
