Led by Graham Dunthorne and Benjamin Ellis, this informal and collaborative network aims to create a supportive space where participants can share experiences, discuss challenges, learn from one another, and explore new ideas to improve care.
Our vision is that people living with chronic pain receive the support they need in primary care to better understand their symptoms, improve their health and wellbeing, and live well.
The session is open to anyone involved in planning or delivering primary care-based support for people living with chronic pain, including:
• GPs
• Practice nurses
• Pharmacists
• Health and wellbeing coaches
• Social prescribing link workers
• Care coordinators
• First Contact Practitioners
• Primary Care Networks (PCNs)
• Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)
• Community and voluntary organisations
• Peer support groups and pain cafés
• Public health and social care professionals
During the session, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Share experiences and examples of good practice
• Learn from colleagues across the UK
• Discuss current challenges and opportunities
• Build connections across primary care, public health, social care, and the voluntary sector
There is no fixed agenda-the conversation will be shaped by those attending, creating a welcoming environment for shared learning and collaboration.
Please share with anyone who may be interested.
