How will my donation be used?

To help achieve the aims and objectives of the British Pain Society we rely on the kindness and generosity of the many individuals, groups and companies who donate their time and money.

The British Pain Society aims to promote education, training, research and development in all fields of pain. It endeavours to increase both professional and public awareness of the prevalence of pain and the facilities that are available for its management. The Society is involved in all aspects of pain and its management through the work of the Council, various Committees, Special Interest Groups and Working Parties and via its publications, Annual Scientific Meeting and educational seminars. To help us to continue these activities, and do more, we need your support..

What we could achieve with your support?

£5,000

£5,000 would support an education initiative to help educate patients, public and healthcare professionals to better understand pain.

£2,500

£2,500 would support the award of Travel Bursaries to enable pain professionals in the early stages of their careers to present their pain research at overseas scientific meetings and share their research and knowledge more widely.

£250

£250 would pay for the production of a YouTube video for patients on pain.

£3

Don’t worry… you can make a big difference by giving £3 pounds for pain. A £3 donation allows us to post patient information to help people living with pain.

Your donation will be used where it is most needed.
