Vacancies - Expert Patient and Carer Committee
24th Dec 2025
We are excited to share an opportunity to become part of the British Pain Society’s Expert Patient and Carer Committee (EPCC). Since 2001, the EPCC has played a vital role in ensuring that the voices of people living with pain and carers are central to the work of our multidisciplinary Society, helping to improve patient information and strengthen collaboration between patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
The EPCC is now recruiting new members, and we would love to invite you to consider joining this dynamic committee. This is a chance to contribute your lived experience of pain - either as a patient or carer - to help shape the future of pain care in the UK.
Eligibility: Applicants must have lived experience of pain, either personally or as a carer/family member. You should not be medically trained or currently working in a healthcare profession, but should have a strong interest in improving care and services for people living with pain.
